Data handling
Start with only the information needed for a fit call.
Initial inquiries should contain a high-level description of the workflow you want to improve—not customer data or sensitive business information.
Initial inquiries
What to share
A business name, a high-level workflow problem, the tools involved, and convenient meeting times are usually enough to determine whether a fit call makes sense.
- Do not send passwords, API keys, login information, financial-account data, customer records, or confidential documents in an initial inquiry.
- Assessment scope and information needs are discussed before paid work begins.
- When a workflow requires sensitive information, data-handling requirements are addressed before access or processing begins.
Optional AI-supported intake
Use it only when you are comfortable with the information you share.
If an AI-supported intake option is offered, it is optional. It should be used for high-level workflow context only; do not include customer records, financial information, passwords, or other sensitive data.
This page describes the site’s intended initial-inquiry practice. It is not a substitute for a project-specific agreement when work requires access to sensitive or regulated information.
